Masseuse

 JOB OUTLOOK

Massage therapists treat clients by massaging to manipulate the soft-tissue muscles of the body. With their touch, therapists relieve pain, help rehabilitate injuries, improve circulation, relieve stress, increase relaxation, and aid in the general wellness of clients. Massage therapists work in various settings, both private and public, such as private offices(spas, hospitals, and fitness centers) Some massage therapists also travel to clients’ homes or offices to give a massage.

TRAINING

Massage therapists typically complete a post-secondary education of 500 or more hours of experience, although standards and requirements are different by state or locality. Most states regulate massage therapy and require massage therapists to have a license or certification.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Massage therapist or Masseuses usually spend their days giving massages on people. It depends on their working environment they can work in many places as i stated before, like spas, hospitals or many other places in obtaining the same things to manipulate the soft-tissue to help people relax of to help with some kind of injury.   

  SALARY

The annual Massage Therapist salary ranges usually between $40,776-$55,235. However, the salary may vary depending on a number of factors.
